About Emily

Emily Lowe is an artist residing in the Dandenong Ranges. Having lived in the region her entire life has immensely inspired her creative practice of drawing and painting. Primarily depicting her local landscape and Australia’s flora and fauna in her work, Emily aims to convey the importance of the natural world and its need for conservation whilst also celebrating is beauty through bold colour, pattern and detail.

Emily is simply addicted to creating the visions that flood her inspired mind, although she is not afraid to jump straight into a new piece, feeling her way through, to resolve and artwork intuitively, as it forms on its surface.
